Floyd
Flowers was born in Pitt County North Carolina and was born
to sing country music. Now Floyd is starting to make some
real noise in the music industry. He has been a singer –
songwriter since he was 12 and has had his hand in many
aspects of the music business for a number of years now.
Being influenced by people like Lefty Frizzel, Hank Snow,
Ernest Tubb and George Jones, he has traveled the country
and played with the best. He’s played on the Oklahoma Opry,
Carolina Opry, the famed Tootsie’s in Nashville, and many TV
appearances.
In 2001
Floyd teamed up with
James Williams, a Nashville record
promoter with
Williams Productions and Promotions, Inc. He
got his first # 1 with “Bring It On Home” on the Indie World
Charts. He followed that with “Bad Side”, “Thin Ice”, “Pitt
County Line”, “Somewhere In The Blues”, “I’m A Fool For Her
Love”, “She’s Got It” which made it to # 1 on both the
Indie world and
Inside Country
charts and charted high on
New Music Weekly. On these charts he was not only competing
for airplay with the best independent artists in the country
but also all the major acts. Floyd is as hard a worker as
you will find. He continues to make valuable contacts with
the Nashville business community. Floyd has recently opened
for Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart, Emerson Drive and Cowboy
Crush, at the Lake Country Music Festival in Virginia.
Recent
chart successes “My Own Damn Man” and “Being The Life Of The
Party” have propelled Floyd onto the next level. Now his
single “Since You Moved Out, I Moved Her In” is sure to
launch him even farther. With 32 NFL Football versions and
a Video of this single Floyd is set to have the best run of
his career. |
